Dr. Liulevicius delivers a talk at the National WWI Museum

Last weekend, Dr. Vejas Liulevicius, the Director of the Center for the Study of War & Society and the Lindsay Young Professor of History in the UT History Department, delivered an invited lecture at an international WWI centennial planning conference. The multi-day conference was devoted to the theme of “Shedding Light on ‘A Century in the Shadow of the Great War.’” More than 125 participants from seven countries convened at the National WWI Museum at Liberty Memorial, and Dr. Liulevicius was one of four international speakers to address the conference participants. Dr. Liulevicius’s talk was entitled “The Eastern Front Experience in World War I.”
